Breads do not have to be plain, they can be sweet or savoury

BISCUITS & SLICES
Please display on paper or plastic plates.
Biscuits should be no larger than 7cm & slice no more than 5 x 5cm.

14    RECIPE – BLACK SEAME COOKIES
Nutty and delicious try these cookies inspired by the 2026, 30 year anniversary of our Sister City relationships with Sugito
120g cold butter/margarine              

 pinch salt
160g plain flour                    

40g toasted black sesame seeds
40g almond meal                    

1 large egg yolk
80g caster/white sugar                
Dice butter and add to blender with flour, almond meal, sugar and salt. Blend to crumb texture and then add egg yolk. Once it is combined remove from blender, form a ball and divide in half. Roll each into into lots approx 5cm in diameter and chill 1 hour. Cut each log into 10 even rounds.

Bake at 175deg for 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes on tray before transferring to cooling rack.

16    Savoury Snack, from spiced nuts or crisps to savoury biscuits or crackers, any type served in a jar. 
Note: a cooking method must be applied, item must be able to be stored at room temperature without spoiling.

Decorated cakes should be presented on a board no larger than 30cm.
Decorated cakes do not need to be covered
Predominantly edible decorations to be used.
